College – especially for students in the arts – is about taking bold leaps in specific disciplines. We brought that creative energy to the fore and positioned Cornish as an inspiring ally.
Central to the project was maintaining a relationship with the Cornish brand palette, and mixing compelling visual styles with essential information highlighting the unique strengths of each program.
This committed leave-behind met a need to boldly show a consistent level of strength and support across each of the school’s disciplines. For prospective students it was important to balance a sense of safety and inclusivity, and also demonstrate the way Cornish celebrates experimentation and curiosity.
Which Design Principles?
Among several universal design principles we applied the Entry Point Principle1, which affirms that building a strong first impression drives further interest into a design or presentation.
