We set out to create an identity that spoke directly to the mission of the org, and reached beyond tired activism iconography.
The result symbolizes the US flag, aligned & undivided people (the fingers), the power of the individual (the hand), and a stopping gesture.
The full suite of components keep flexibility and adoption front of mind for a range of applications. Standards were created to allow other Washington State cities with limited visual design capabilities to easily pick up the identity and run with it.
Robert came to the first All-Hands Meeting and offered us his considerable skills and experience. We are so glad he did.
